Pros

If you love sports, this is the place to be
Exciting, high paced environment

Always fun to hear the reaction you get when you tell people you work at ESPN

Cons

CONNECTICUT
No one really cares about work-life balance even though it's preached
No appreciation for a job well done
Poor pay

Advice to Management

We know it's tough times and we're supposed to do more with less, cut us some slack, though. We're getting burned out!

    Pros

The most talented people in the industry work here. There's great people outside ESPN, but chances are they ended up here at some point or are still there.

    Cons

Everything you hated about how a high school cafeteria functioned socially is true at ESPN. Imagine it's with adults who have money and hormones.

    Advice to Management

They're your employees. They break their backs because they love what they do. They make you look good. Appreciate them.

    Pros

It is a sports fan dream
They provide a good balance of work/life
    They have a comfortable environment
    Good learning experience
Overall a fun place to work

    Cons

The internship seemed to be more along the lines of cheap labor rather than as company that is looking to develop and hone future employees from in-house. The do kind of tell you that going into the position though

    Advice to Management

Overall i think that they have done a great job. The few bad apples they have hired on their networks should not spoil the reputation of this company.
