I have been working at EY full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Culture is generally great due to the people around
-Local graduates can expect to see many of their peers in the same firm
-Steep learning curve -> a fast way to gain experience
-unlike most professional service firm, you can claim OT in the form of time off

    Cons

-learning on the job depends on your manager as well as your senior so if any of them is inapt, the quality of work you produce will fall as well
-Long working hours and low compensation
-General assurance may not have as many exit opportunities
-May not be able to claim time off for OT as schedule is usually packed

    Advice to Management

-much like other big fours, the audit industry should focus on retaining employees rather than mass hiring when they leave (For continuity purposes)
-Respect employees' decision to take leaves and offs
-Even though the firm has a development framework for their employees, it is not as open as what the firm portray it to be and there may be conflict of interests
-Hours:Compensation ratio is among the worst, main reason why employees are quitting (management know best about this but nothing is sufficiently done)
