Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I worked at EY full-time (More than a year)

Pros

- good on resume
- one of the biggest accounting firms
- explosure to mulit billion dollar client
- deep learning curve

Cons

- bad management
- encourage gossip
- if a management thinks you are bad, you will never succeed in the firm
- the co-workers love to think they are better than anyone and put people down
- not working in a co-operative environment
- too much gossip and minimum support
- the management encourages to book the actual working hours; however, if the working hours are too much and exceed the budget, management will complain the utilitization rate too low and management loves to use the word "accountabilitly" to blame it on anyone.

Advice to Management

- treat people with respect!
- don't abuse your power!

    Approves of CEO

I worked at EY as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Hours are not too bad and they are quite lenient if you want to have a shorter day or want to work from home. Culture is very horizontal, you can chat to partner if you wish to, open plan office means that you might be sitting one day next to very senior people the other day you will be sitting next to interns.

    Cons

Work is rather monotonic however after first two years you start managing people and this creates a completely different feel. Also working and doing exams at the same time is quite difficult too

    Advice to Management

I felt like I needed more help and care when I just started, some more guidance during first few weeks would be very helpful
