    Pros

-Work / life balance generally ok
    -25 cent sodas

    Cons

-TOXIC, TOXIC, TOXIC, and unprofessional--the worse I've experienced in my career
-If you're not part of the good ol' boy club, don't expect anyone to take you seriously
-Either 5 or 6 paid holidays
-Managers and directors do not know how to manage or direct
    -No training
    -No communication
-Certain people and groups talk crap about everyone all day
-Chart of accounts is so messed up people spend all day trying to get to a number rather than doing anything productive with that number
-Office at 1901 is crowded and old
-Corporate accounting and FP&A teams are revolving doors for good reason

    Advice to Management

Look at what's going on with your employees and do something about it.

I worked at EZCORP full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent wages, free coffee/tea in break area.
    Good co-workers.

    Cons

    >only 2 weeks vacation offered to everyone, if you want more come up with a dollar value for your time. Don't get sick and use up more thank your 2 weeks, you will be terminated.
    >IT area is full of contractors with VERY high turnover. People "disappear" at lunch because that is when HR comes by to terminate them and give them 15-20 minutes to gather all their belongings.
    >Organization has no interest in best practices, they are constantly reacting to changes in the law with no foresight on creating a system that is more dynamic.
    >Serious disparity between business and IT resources... reminiscent of junior high.
    >This includes leadership that has told IT analyst (who were gathering requirements information) that they should not talk with people from "other" sides of the business (Canada)
    >Crowded office environment and no telework flexibility

    Advice to Management

Get over yourselves, no company can achieve true success by treating people as disposable.
Put an end to the departmental rivalry.
