I worked at Earth Fare full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

The employees are great and friendly. Everyone works hard and helps out.
The atmosphere rocks, the customers are cool, and they get to know you and you get to know them.
There are some decent perks, like discounted lunch and discounts store wide.

Cons

Management isn't great.
It's retail and they treat their employees like they don't matter.
Poor scheduling.

Advice to Management

Actually care about your employees.

I have been working at Earth Fare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Discount on food
insane coupons that you can double up on
    good eats
    co-workers

    Cons

Apparently there is no "I have a life". If you have become employed by earth fare there is no outside world. You are required to work when your manager tells you and your personal life needs to be put on hold. Also mangers have become a little too close with their employees, there seems to be no separation of personal attachments to hired employees (i.e. former friendships prior to working at earth fare) Hours are slashed every week. The words "we're all in this together" do not apply to this store. Hard work is greatly under appreciated.

    Advice to Management

Your employees are not there to pick up the slack when other people quit. Not every employee has nothing better to do than work at earth fare. Consistent schedules make for happier employees and a happier work environment. Appreciate the good employees, they're always picking up after your "favorites"

I have been working at Earth Fare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Discount on food
    Nice peers to work with
    Somewhat decent benefits

    Cons

    MASSIVE Turnover, Non-competitive low pay,
Yearly raise capped at three percent max even if you were a perfect employee
New employees getting paid as much or more than seasoned employees due to rigid pay structure

    Advice to Management

Your employees are you greatest resource. Try to remember that instead of using them as a way to cut cost.
