    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Great atmosphere, good people. Family environment and great place to work and play. Given the work environment, the two go hand-in-hand.

    Cons

Leadership was closed-off, there seemed to be some nepotistic leanings with some leaders who had been there a long time and needed a little dusting off and some new paint.

    Advice to Management

Leadership here, and in any company, should be looking towards succession and replacing themselves, this is what good leaders do. Locating, mentoring and promoting is critical to the longevity of any company. Management needs to keep it's eye on this. It would be very easy for Giro to lose a grip on market position it has, by diluting the brand through various product launches and non-adjacent product development.
