Pros

Eaton pays better than most and the benefits are good. The vacation you accure and the holidays are equal or better than most places.

Cons

It seems like everytime it starts getting warm outside, we start working six days a week even when we were told we would not work our summer away another year.

Advice to Management

A model change is very important right now for the morale in our company, people can not keep their eyes and mind on task when all they can think about is that we were told we would not work six days a week again.

    Pros

Eaton has a desire to not be a " me too" company. The good mix of businesses made it a stable place to work in the economic down turn.

    Cons

They have only partial commitment to long term technology investments. It is not unusual to hear a senior leader say " I'll be dead by then".

    Advice to Management

If we don't make capital investments our delivery and quality will become non competitive. Investing in the back end of the business will make customers more willing to talk to the sales force we are investing in.
