I have been working at Eddie Bauer part-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

The people I work with are amazing. Customers are fun. I love our products and the company is one based on tradition from right here in the US.

Cons

The hours sometimes are yuck. Working holidays is not always ideal.

Advice to Management

IF THE MEMBERS OF THE MANAGEMENT TEAM WITHIN A STORE ARE ON THE SAME PAGE, EVERY MEMBER OF THE SALES TEAM WILL BE TOO.

    Great leadership team and all levels. Teams are highly engaged and committed to delivering results. Associates are passionate about the brand and love the company and it's products

    Technology is stuck in the 80s!

    Keep up the good work but invest in current technology. Your customers expect more from you.

    I have been working at Eddie Bauer full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good energy, excellent product, outstanding customer service. Best of all, the freedom to let all associates do what needs to be done to make the customer happy, no matter what. No passing the buck here.

    Cons

    Often very busy and not enough payroll hours to do everything you'd like to do an A+ job on, like control the fitting rooms better or keep the store as clean as you'd like to.

    Advice to Management

    Pleeease upgrade the computer systems! It takes much too long to look up every "Friends" number when you often have to log in and then try three phone numbers, while your back is turned to your customer. There should be a way to do it AT the register while facing your customer!
