I have been working at Edelman full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Fantastic colleagues, challenging work. Edelman provides an environment where employees can get out as much as they put in -- opportunities to chart your own career path, propose new approaches to client challenges and travel to other offices through fellowship programs. We work hard but there is plenty of time to enjoy, as well.

    Cons

Communication and cooperation could be better across teams and practice areas. In some cases, too much focus on individual P&Ls vs. the good of the client or company.

    Advice to Management

Continue to enforce teamwork across groups and offices to reduce the "look out for yourself" or "what in it for me" mentality.

    Pros

Solid firm with world-class clients and great learning opportunities

    Cons

Transferring from one office to another this year was unreasonably difficult. It worked out in the end, but jumping through hoops was discouraging.
