Great Team, But Toxic Leadership at the Top - Anonymous employee Edge Logistics Employee Review

Pros

The onsite team is full of genuinely supportive, energetic individuals who create a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Many colleagues go above and beyond for each other, and there’s a strong sense of camaraderie within the day-to-day operations. It’s a group that works hard, lifts each other up, and strives to make the best of a challenging situation.

Cons

Unfortunately, the biggest challenge comes from the top. The CEO Rami consistently exhibits unethical business practices and lacks regard for both clients and employees. Rather than building lasting partnerships, he has a pattern of alienating and chasing business away—often due to ego-driven decisions and a combative approach to conflict. Internally, morale suffers from a lack of transparency, erratic leadership, and a clear absence of genuine care for the well-being or development of the staff. Good people are left cleaning up the mess, and many eventually burn out or leave.

Pros

Pay is the only thing about this job that would retain employees.

Cons

Company is cutting corners and seemingly has had cash flow issues for a few years. Poor Management staff / Non Existent management staff CEO and Co-Founder left the company and it has been a free fall since. Management fired over half the staff, and is failing to convince new people to join on, leaving everyone involved drastically understaffed. Management provided only false hope and broken future promises time and time again. I have honestly lost count with the number of broken promises, and outright intentional deceit. Work Life Balance - Non Existent, You will work nights and weekends very heavily unless you are a very low level employee. The company outsourced every possible facet of the company, and the company is seeing the harm in that decision in full effect. Environment = Overworked + Unmotivated Staff + Aggressive and Hostel Environment Very understaffed in overnight and poor internal visibility on anything happening outside of business hours. Technology seems out of date in an industry dominated by rising technology. Benefits - Outsourced HR/Benefits companies have switched several times - Benefits change companies yearly if not more frequently to the point where keeping up with the changing insurances will take time out of your day, and potentially lead to issues once at the doctor with your wife and/or children. Employee Retention - Very Low
