Pros

Great CEO and visionaries within the organization. Equality across the board, pension, great benefits, nice place to work.

Cons

Stuck in pay grade. Cannot advance.

Some VPs are not leaders.

    I worked at Educational Testing Service full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Support professional development; stimulating environment; very comfortable work conditions; employees take pride in the work of ETS; lots of interesting presentations, workshops, extra-curriculars (ToastMasters, WeightWatchers, etc.)

    Cons

    Atmosphere very corporate; very high stress; lots of politics; very hard to increase salary; half-hour lunch is in addition to 8-hour work day (you have to put in 8.5 hour day)

    Advice to Management

    People are not corporations
