Pros
As an on-call you're available on your terms. You can make yourself open on specific days in the scheduler tool and pick which branches can see that availability. The home office can help walk you through most tasks, though if you don't have previous experience with the company (I was previously a full time Senior BOA) you will likely be given relatively little to take care of- mostly answering the phone and taking messages, providing limited information, directing calls to the Financial Advisor. If you're interested in going full time it is a solid company to work for.
Cons
If you haven't worked as a full time BOA previously, the systems are fairly convoluted. Sharepoint is used as the main search engine to get to information and it's clunky to navigate through. Hold times for home office calls are often in excess of 10 minutes. If you're interested in going full time, the on-boarding process is incredibly overwhelming as you're learning multiple systems and if you don't have previous experience in finance learning all of that on top of the systems is a lot. It's commonly said that you'll feel like you're "drinking from a firehose".
