    Pros

Employees start off a fairly good salary, and get a raise within 3 months. One of the better perks of the job is the trade credit given to each employee. Because the store sells books, movies, cd´s, and video games, and this trade credit can be used on all of the above (and converted into cash at 40% the value), there is more money to spend on your bills and the like. You can also make bonuses and commission off of the sales in your section, which can actually makes the starting salary much higher.

    Cons

The downside is the poor communication the managers have with the employees. Often, when the managers think an employee is doing something wrong, they won´t say anything until the problem is so big that someone needs to be let go. It´s also very hard to get time off. Edward McKay also hires a lot of people with management experience to take bookseller jobs, but then forget to utilize the experience that their employees have.
