    Pros

They pay a respectable hourly wage. You are rewarded when you make sales and the management is understanding of life. I believe they have a great product in the radiant barrier and they do have all the knowledge necessary to go along with their name.

    Cons

The communication between salesmen (walking Home Depot..etc) and the guys that actually do the work on the homes is virtually nonexistent. Most of the time the people around you are well aware of you and make a point to avoid you. The pressure is on to talk to people and set appointments though. Not for the kind of person who has anxiety and/or isn't comfortable interrupting, or in most cases, annoying customers in store to just buy some nails....

    Advice to Management

Your sales Reps need to be better equipped for the job. There is too much paper involved. Faxing is okay. But there are a lot more efficient ways to get the information needed relayed to scheduling, and scheduling to dispatchers. I don't remember the sales program I used but there were a handful of things that were irrelevant/never used/pointless or were to just be left blank. At one point I was driving around the metroplex not receiving compensation for mileage. Maybe there is a liability thing there but whatever the case, supervisors that drive from store to store daily deserve more compensation. A lot of the sales team seemed to be living paycheck to paycheck and every dime counts.
