Pros

The only positive is that most of the companies that use Egencia probably don't know how bad it is on the inside.

Cons

Management, management, management! At least 7 re-orgs in 2-years with no positive results...

    I have been working at Egencia full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    *Easy to negotiate on behalf of any client when you work for the market leader
    *Good benefits for the employees

    Cons

    *Huge luck of transparency cross the team
    *Luck of standartization
    *Director has to develop an audit mechanism of the work of Consulting Managers
    *Analysts work and share everything with the Consulting Manager(s) and they depend on them instead of the Line Manager decisions
    *Analysts work has a low or no exposure to the business and even to their Line Manager. In other words the current reporting line doesn't help either the Analysts or the Managers/Line Manager
    *No good career path for the Analysts. If you will be a Manager is all about client/program retention & revenue and way less analysis is needed. So, if you will be the best analyst and you will get a promotion all is needed is your communication skills which you never used them/develop them since your work doesn't have an exposure to clients, meetings with them & etc.
    *Luck of communication between the team members despite the fact the business does anything possible to improve it

    Advice to Management

    *Each of the Analysts work hard from A to Z to achieve whatever the Managers promised to the client either it is possible or not!
    *Give some space to grow to Analysts by participating to the first meeting with the client since they have to be able to achieve what others promise without checking if its possible or not.
    *Do not leave anyone to sell an idea, but invest to employees who sell their truth and willing to built strong business relationships with the clients.
    *Use of the existing tools with a valuable way. The Sr Manager of innovation can help a lot to change the way you do business.
