I have been working at Electronic Arts as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

EA Sports has some incredibly talented people. They're also friendly and caring. Before I started my internship here, I knew it was going to be fun, but I had no idea how rewarding this experience was going to be! I've met some idols here who've not only changed my working process for the better, but also reminded me of why I fell in love with the art in the first place. The dedication and enthusiasm of my mentor, other senior artists and art director were phenomenal. They not only gave me plenty of time for personal projects, but also encouraged it. I'm about to leave, and I'm taking away a lot with me.

    Cons

Most jobs are contract based - not so much of an incentive for someone looking for long term job security.
People from different game teams don't mingle enough. There could've been more cultural events and such (IMO).

    Advice to Management

Considering that EA has some of the world's best artists (people of that caliber are few in number, and hard to find) and expert coders working on great technology, I'd expect something spectacular to come out of it. Unfortunately, I was not completely blown away.
