Pros

elektrobit is not as stressfull as compared to other silicon valley high tech companies. They bill their customers by the hour so you pretty much clock in and out every day.

Cons

Working for a service R&D, consulting type of company, you don't get much incentives nor subidies from the company to go to seminars or conferences or short courses off-site.

Advice to Management

People need to work in a place where their skills and technical competence are not only valued and appreciated by the company, but utilized properly. Each employee brings a unique skill to contribute, and the management needs to know exactly what that skill is.

I have been working at Elektrobit full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Colleagues are great, Management poor

    Cons

ReOrg is going on and lots of good people are leaving the ship.

If your job was cancelled, you had to apply with full CV and application letter. (!!)
Even though many jobs were shown on the portal, only few applicants really got a chance to get the offered jobs.

People within the ReOrg Team have been offered the best Jobs far before any other job has been published.

No idea what qualified some of the people for a Direktor´s job as they had neither management experience, nor have been a qualified around their new job.

    - Favoritism has a definite "GO" here.

Attrition rate rises and people are not very happy with the management's behaviour and transparency of information.

Many people don't even know yet where they will be working in January.

    Advice to Management

    Retire
