I have been working at Eli Lilly full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Highly intelligent and passionate workforce; opportunities to advance; very good compensation and benefits

    Cons

Backbiting has increased over the years as people strive to protect their jobs. Culture remains very bureaucratic despite efforts to correct this.

    Advice to Management

Live the behaviors, not just articulate them.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Eli Lilly as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great company to work for! The people here are amazing and some of the smartest people you would ever meet. Everyone has at the minimum a masters and if you don't have a masters yet, Lilly will help you pay for one! I loved working with my team and helping them with their projects.

    Cons

Large company. It is easy to get lost in the buildings as well. But in time you learn people and where to go in each campus.

    Advice to Management

Keep employees motivated and keep progress on new drugs going. Its been awhile since Lilly had a blockbuster product.
