Great training, great products, good people, great experience.
Cons
Lilly pays well if you come from another pharma co with relevant experience in that market segment, ie , Thoracic Oncology. But the yearly merit increases are typically 1-2% and they don’t offer much stock to employees as a reward for outstanding contributions. They don’t financially reward employees as encouragement to stay. Lilly doesn’t value longevity or loyalty. They believe it’s more economical to let experienced people leave and replace them with anyone for significantly less money. The change of marketers internally makes it difficult to develop relationships and continuity. Lilly’s internal “ Marketing Academy “ has proven to be a rich source of good new young marketing associates for every other large or small pharma or bio pharmaceutical company.
