    Pros

It's been around for over 107 years, has a remarkable record of achievement, offers the opportunity to actually help turn a person's life around in a positive way and provides a sense of doing something greater than one's self.

    Cons

Can be emotionally draining; pay is adequate for the industry but no one will get rich at it. Some turnover in high-stress positions creates more overtime needs.

One big con is not with the company but with the incorrect description of this organization as a 'magnetic and optical media manufacturer'. It is a residential treatment facility for adolescent mental health services. And there are no more than 250 employees, not '320'+' as indicted.

    Someone is clueless.

I worked at Eliada Homes part-time

    Pros

    Learning about milieu management.
Opportunities to observe what happens to kids in "the system"

    Cons

Long hours, low pay, no managerial support on night shift most of the time.

    Advice to Management

Provide more intensive training to supervisors and all other staff and pay a suitable hourly rate for college graduates who are working with children who really need support.
