I worked at Elie Tahari full-time

    Pros

Get a lot of experience, learn a lot, some really great people. You will learn every aspect of the business. Company is growing... Good clothing discount.

    Cons

Super negative management. Most promotions are based on favoritism. Constant gossip, completely unprofessional... Manager's make you feel stupid if you are unhappy with bad treatment. Extremely poor planning... Tons of time is wasted waiting for managers to be available for meetings because they are busy taking care of personal matters... They are behind the times on a lot of systems, and do a lot of needless steps, and updating anything to something new and easier is met with a lot of resistance, no matter what it is... The working environment is cluttered and cramped, constantly tripping over rolls of fabric and racks of clothes... extremely messy... makes it hard to think. Managers constantly leave early or come in late... always waiting on them.

    Advice to Management

Start listening to the "non-management" employees... they are all saying the same thing, your management needs to be held accountable for the state of the company and the morale...
