    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Emory University full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Job stability, telecommuting, working with very intelligent principal investigators (researchers)

    Cons

Huge organization type mentality, little innovation, risk averse, anti-capitalist, a dean's word is worth more than gold (or all the human reason in the world)

    Advice to Management

Communicate better with your staff, let them know their expectations and failures, give greater opportunities for vertical growth within the org, just be cause someone is a dean doesn't mean he or she isn't an idiot or a jerk :-)
