Pros
Most employees are great and team players, even if management isn't. Time is pretty flexible for the most part. Work load is heavy and keeps you busy. Great way to get experience for entry level, just make sure what you are learning follows GAAP procedures and backup everything you do (i.e. keep logs).
Cons
There is no segregation of duties, no structure, no process and procedures. Very hostile environment, where it is okay for employees to yell at each other including management cursing at employees. Controller has very little patience. No training process. No collaborations. No performance reviews. Salary below standard. Benefits are poor.
