I worked at Enphase Energy full-time

Pros

There are some great rank and file personnel that carry the weight of the company in spite of poor leadership. And the company is located in a wonderful locale.

Cons

A consistent lack of trust within Enphase stifles innovation and collaboration, delaying new product introduction. Look at the experience of the executives and ask if they have the competence to hold their current position, and you'll likely be able to pick out the key source of the dysfunction. Sadly, the potential for this company is severely threatened.

Advice to Management

Surgically remove the source of consistent trauma to the team or market leadership will be forever lost.

I worked at Enphase Energy as an intern

    Pros

Set in beautiful Petaluma, lunch time bike rides through the area are stunning and easy to do. All testing and electronics labs are located in-house, making for a good mix of corporate employees with the engineering team, and the open-office format makes it easy to meet people. Decent advancement potential.

    Cons

Meeting heavy, making it hard to get things done. Business outlook is tough given that the market for microinverters and energy storage is highly competitive. Average age in the office is probably near 40, and the lower levels of the corporate structure see a lot of turnover.

    Pros

very good product (both harwdare and software).

    Cons

    no dialogue with local branches.
    no business strategic direction.
    no career opportunity.

    Advice to Management

They should learn to listen to local employees as they better know the local market trends, competition, regulations and can better forecast sales and revenues.
