I have been working at Enterprise full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

People are very nice and professional
You quickly learn how to manage and run a rental car operation
Senior Management is very friendly and take a lof of interest in their employees
Great sales job!

Cons

Long hours
Bad pay
Work becomes very repetitive very quickly
Not many opportunities for advancement

Advice to Management

It would be great if MTs could get involved in other parts of the business early on instead of always being stuck in the daily routine. There's a feeling of being in a maze with no exits and a feeling of being just another number in the company.

I have been working at Enterprise part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Living in Orlando and working for this company has put me in touch with the tourist industry. I have been to places that I otherwise would never see.. I moved to Fla. 6 years ago not knowing my way around, but after working at Enterprise, I'm not afraid to go anywhere!

    Cons

Working only part time. There are not many full time driving positions .

    Advice to Management

they need to keep ALL employees informed of things going on in the company, not just full timers! I think this would keep the rumors from starting. and I think we all like to be informed about what affects our jobs, good or bad!

I worked at Enterprise as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great transition to the "job world". You don't spend your whole day sitting behind a desk - which is awesome. The people you work with are great and fun to be around. You interact with people all the time which makes the day go by faster. You get to drive some pretty nice cars! (BMW, Cadillacs, Camero's)

    Cons

Get ready to wash cars. I worked at two different branches. The first one had "porters" or people who are hired specifically to pick up customers and wash the cars. The second branch I worked for was much smaller with one porter who only work 3 times a week for half the day. The rest of the time you are rushed to clean cars and pick up customers. "I don't get paid enough for this" went through my head many, many times this summer.
