I worked at Enterprise as an intern

Pros

Day goes by very quickly, the people I worked with were great, and I had a great manager

Cons

The hours are long (7am-6pm) and for a salaried employee, you cannot be making enough money to deal with some of the crazy people that come in there. You are judged solely on your own ability to make sales and upgrades, so you must be a strong sales person to succeed.

Advice to Management

Make sure your branches are adequately staffed and that new hires are trained and mentored.

I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good training and experience. Working there teaches you how to overcome challenging situations in a short amount of time. The people that you work with are usually nice, fun loving, outgoing individuals with similar personalities which makes the work day go by a little faster.

    Cons

Very time consuming with not enough pay for the amount of hours and work you put into your job. The work and hours wear you out and make you feel too tired to have a life outside of work, although they say there is a work/life balance there really isn't one.

    Advice to Management

Remember that you were once at the bottom of the totem pole so do not let your position go to your head or you will not have the respect of your employees.

I worked at Enterprise full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great for new graduates who are unsure of a career path

    Cons

    no work/life balance
upper management has made it less of a fun environment and employees are afraid of friendly relationships
    hours are unreasonable

    Advice to Management

The rules you have in place make it hard to stand out without being a great salesperson. There should be more to a company than being able to sell.
