I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Enterprise has a comprehensive training and development program. Hands on training is provided for the MT, training manuals are used, feedback and coaching consistently provided daily while in the rental branch as well as during weekly and monthly meetings with management. Classroom training is geared towards adult learning and includes roleplays, hands on, brainstorming and more. Local senior leadership facilitates the training and experts of departments are brought in for this training. Support from all levels of management.

Cons

Very fast pace, a lot of multi-tasking, ovewhelming at first trying to learn all areas of the business, 49 hour work week, service agents are assigned to the branch to clean cars however, when busy, the rest of the team helps.

I have been working at Enterprise full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some people are fun to worth with. Teach you how to run a business on your own. Not terrible starting pay. Good on the job experience for career building.

    Cons

If your manager is not good it will cause you to suffer, make hours much longer and you will have to pick up the slack or get in trouble from senior managers. Some managers will just blame the requirements they cannot meet on you even though you are not responsible for them.

    Advice to Management

Make sure the assistant managers and branch managers can actually handle the increased responsibilities. Don't just promote them because they can "sell". There is much to more than running a branch then just being good at selling products.

I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great opportunity to work in an environment where everyday is different and you are learning something new. Those who don't want advancement opportunities- NEED NOT APPLY. You learn all aspects of business and are rewarded for performance. If you like people and opportunities, join the team!

    Cons

Our advancement opportunities have provided many entry level employees with the ability to double their salaries in less than two years, however I feel the starting salary can/should be increased for MT's.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it fun!
