    Pros

After Enterprise, every future employer loves to see this experience on your resume. Also, you get out of it exactly what you put in-- if you work really hard, results will follow and not every company is that way (however, pay does not match your efforts and that's why many people end up leaving after a few years). You know your sales numbers/status everyday! Very few sales positions where you know where you rank on a daily basis... very encouraging. Lastly, they hire people who have similar personalities (sales oriented, friendly, personable, etc) so you make friends fast. You actually enjoy going to work (for 12 hours/day) because if you work at an office that has downtime, it's a ton of fun and goofing around.

    Cons

Like I mentioned, pay doesn't match your efforts/hours/and work you put in with the new pay plan. The old managers make a killing (if they're still there) because their commissions aren't capped how they are on the new plan. Once you become an assistant manager, you're salary and you end up working 5x as hard and many more hours and often making less than your employees who are hourly. Being on salary is a joke as an Assistant because you still do the grunt work, they just add the back end work with little to no pay raise. Your goal as an assistant is to move up QUICKLY so you don't have to suffer too long (or just get out). And the hours.... you are basically making minimum wage or less as an assistant because all of the hours that you put in divided into your salary just doesn't make sense. The company has been in a well-known lawsuit involving making assistant managers non-exempt status (no overtime for you) because the duties are so similar to the management assistant (hourly). They're going to need to restructure soon because no one is going to stick around for how bogus it's becoming. Zero, Zip, Zilch work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

Restructure positions and salary because you aren't going to attract the right candidates for a sub-par salary. Eliminate those new Management Trainees that don't perform their first 6 months, they end up costing more than they're worth. Go back to giving cash bonuses like the old days... MVP dinner and I-netty/rate lunches is not incentive. And most importantly, don't send girls on customer pick ups and ride backs, you're asking for trouble.
