I have been working at Enterprise full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Enterprise is a great company to work for. Any person interested in running their own business should work for the company. They provide on the job training on a daily basis and you are taught how to run a business from day one! In regards to promotions, Enterprise only promotes from within the company. Promotions are based upon how well each employee is preforming. Sticking with Enterprise for the long hall will reap huge benefits and satisfaction for anyone who is career driven!

Cons

The hours are long. At Enterprise you work between 48-54 hours a week. The pay is not as good as other entry level positions but you do make up for it in the overtime hours you work. Due to the long hours involved with work doing things outside of work is very hard. Learning to balance your time is key.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing and encouraging your employees!

I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The work is taxing however, if you can make it there - you can make ti ANYWHERE!!! ERAC looks good on the resume because of its sales driven nature and its perceived focus on good customer service. Great starter job but only for 1-3 years at the branch level. Don't worry, you will never have a shortage of sympathetic ears re: a days work.

    Cons

College educated employees washing cars, cleaning garages, going into undesirable areas to Repo cars. It is VERY $$ driven - the employees include very desirable grads who have bought into the "run your own business" mantra but ERAC exploits that youthful energy and naivity of what they are monetarily worth.

    Advice to Management

The business model works and if you made it to management, you'll retire there or be encouraged to retire when you have run your course. Just be mindful that jaded and fearful employees can sabotage a branch - keep your people content and give a measure of job security to make the "job" more of a career. Thank you goes a LONG way.
