I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Mission and Values are entrenched in training and engrained in corporate structure daily. Great place to cut teeth if you plan to train, develop or manage people. Routines are easy to follow.

Cons

Routines are easy to follow but change constantly before a measure of success can be calculated, change is more of the routine than the regarded issues the change attempts to address.

Advice to Management

Reward systems are good but incentives that amount to real tangible values like raises above 3%. I would also suggest the return of regularly scheduled staff meetings instead of email, and the intranet's version of social media as a way to communicate policy change. Enforcing, understanding and feedback from and about rules requires human interaction.

    Pros

    Great experience and management experience.

    Cons

They totally take advantage of their employees, don't lunch them properly, and don't adequately pay them for the hours worked. Save your sanity and your time by avoiding this employer!

    Advice to Management

RESPECT your employees and pay them fairly for the hours they worked!!!

I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You learn a lot in a short period of time. If you can sell and have drive, you will go far and you can do it relatively quickly because promotions are based on performance, not seniority. I think it is one of the few companies where management is actively engaged in employees getting promoted and moving up the ladder. They usually hire recent college graduates, which means you will work with people your age (early to late twenties) and can make for a fun atmosphere. Also, for a first job out of college it looks really good on your resume if/when you decide to leave. Finally, they have good benefits : dental, medical, vision, 401k

    Cons

The hours. Monday through Friday you belong to enterprise. I was working about 55 hours a week at my last branch. Between the hours and dealing with the demands of the business (that includes dealing with customers), it can be taxing for some people. They don't pay well in the beginning and you have to work your butt off, but within 8 months you should be on the up and up.
