I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

first branch will be close to your home, 10 15 min commute. You will work with mostly college grads so youll be with a younger crowd that like to go out. Major holidays off, not your typical Retail jobs that are open on holidays. Can advance quickly but must perform with sales. Management will reward good sales with lunches and Happy hours.

Cons

Long hours. I you do not sell you will be miserable at work . Must wear only a long sleeve white shirt. with tie. Can not have a beard. Will have to work on some Saturdays. Picking up people gets annoying you feel like Cab driver at times.

Advice to Management

Do not only base promotions only sales #'s. More pay

I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

No micro-managing. There are opportunities outside of the local branch to start in.

    Cons

However, if you start outside of a local branch upward mobility can be hindered. No recognition for going above and beyond.

I worked at Enterprise part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There is a lot of opportunity to advance working for Enterprise. Employees are overall very happy with the company's practice of promotion from within.

    Cons

I accepted the job because I was looking for part-time work. "Part-time"at Enterprise means 40-50 hour work weeks, however. You will have to clean cars, fast and dirty, in business attire (tie and dress slacks for men). Because employees are often promoted, some branches are understaffed and this makes it quite difficult to meet every customer's needs/expectations.

    Advice to Management

Don't promote employees until you have found a replacement. "Part-Time" employees who wish to remain "Part-Time" shouldn't be forced into an Overtime hours work week.
