    Pros

Compensation and real world training in the rental industry. You will be highly revered for the customer service and management principles that you learn on an everyday basis.

    Cons

Hours and promotional opportunities are not that great. Be prepared to see your coworkers more than your own family. Once you reach Assistant manager it very hard to get your own branch and then after it's pretty impossible to go to the next level as an Area manager

    Advice to Management

Focus and invest on Day to day operations and management

    I worked at Enterprise full-time

    Pros

Exposed to many different aspects of management in a relatively short time. Many of the basic business concepts you will learn are universally applicable (i.e sales, customer service, pricing, managing sales, long-term planning). If you have a supportive management team, it can be a pretty fun job that's not too difficult.

    Cons

Unfortunately, there are a great deal of people that should not be managers. Getting managers to look out for you is extremely political! Additionally, management can be nearly opaque, offering very little transparency to aspiring young managers. Over time, it starts to feel like you're being strung along.

    Advice to Management

Communicate and explain management decisions with much more transparency. This company can be horrible about gathering employee buy-in for new initiatives. As such a reputation spreads, you won't have an endless supply of applicants forever.
