I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

The employees make this one of the best places to work! It is a very competitive, fun, and fast-paced environment. Promotions are based on performance and not seniority. We do work hard, but we definitely reward hard work and spend time with our top-performing employees at team building events DURING office hours. If you are self-motivated and want promotional opportunities than there is no telling how far you can go with this company!

Cons

The days can be long, but since there are so many locations within the area most employees have a very short commute time between work and home. This is a sales and customer service position so you must be able to build rapport with customers and handle some difficult customers at times.

Advice to Management

Continue to provide opportunities for promotional growth to the employees.

I worked at Enterprise full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great business model if you find a division that truly lives up to the model and values.

    Cons

The business model is great but very poorly executed. Management is suppose to be involved on all levels... it is not.

    Advice to Management

Get involved, and if you don't blame yourself and not the people who are working hard for you.

I have been working at Enterprise part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great sales experience
Learn the inner workings of a business
    Forces you to be personable

    Cons

The pay is ridiculous. They expect you to work like a dog, wear a suit and tie, but compensate you as if it were blue collar work. There is a glass ceiling at the branch manager level. Once your there, the odds of becoming an area manager are slim because most of the time there is only one position available. Last, but not least, upper management receives the commission for the lower level employees hard work.

    Advice to Management

Spread the wealth. I have seen 5 figure commission checks handed to area managers. Some of this should be passed down to the people who actually sell the insurance.
