I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

-After EMP referals, Car Sale Referals and commission i made 50,000 in 2013
-Some of the people you work with are great.
-Always something new to do everyday
-Upper management for the most part are great people

Cons

-Washing Cars
-being told to "withhold" all truth from the customer so to get them to buy more insurance
-After your 1st Year you are forgotten. It's great management training, just no career
-I'm relatively good at sales but if you struggle make sure you are ready to be fired
-I noticed someone getting promoted quickly in the company and realized she was questionably close to the male management. She also has been responsible for "snitching" on others at her level to get ahead
-50,000 is good yes but the amount of work is not worth it.
-HOURS 730a-6pm and you are there the whole time
-HOURS you will work 55-60 hrs.... if you have a spouse or children, they wont see you.
-LIKE A JUICER it sounds bad but they suck the life out of you and work you so much you cant interview anywhere else
-You will have to compromise your morals, character and personality

I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS BEFORE I STARTED. I WOULD HAVE NEVER TAKEN THE JOB. GLAD I CAN PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE BUT I'VE COMPROMISED SO MUCH.

Advice to Management

nothing i say will change what you are doing because it's making you money

I have been working at Enterprise full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

If you stay in rental, you can make a ton of money. One current GM probably makes over a million a year, and he's been with the company about 10 years.

    Good benefits and discounts.

    Cons

The wealth is not spread. Specialized positions that would garner $50k-$70k plus a year anywhere else are overlooked and paid $30k-$45k.

The ethics are a bit iffy... Some well-performing employees are favored even when their actions may get another terminated.

    Advice to Management

Pay for knowledge and loyalty as well as performance.

    Cons

Upper mgnt treats you like a number not a person

Get back to the foundation enterprise was built on
