Pros

There is good structure of where you can go and how many doors this position opens to you. They do not discriminate on what degree you did or who you are and where you come from. They offer you a level playing field where you will be based on your performance.

A lot of focus is based around customer service and sales figures, but you get training on both. Your manager will take you out for lunches to discuss with you what you need to now, and you can discuss with them what you're good at and where you think you need improving and they will help you get there.

Cons

A very steep nearly linear learning curve! You are not thrown in the deep end, but the training really does start after you step into your branch and away from your 3 day classroom training! But, if you're the type of person who learns fast, you'll find it enjoyable.

It's a little unglamourous. You're wearing a suit and are expected to clean cars and to the pick-up and delivery for customers. But the good thing is they DO NOT let you out of the branch to pick up and deliver the cars! Why is that good? Because you know you won't be used as a driver; you're a management trainee so for 30 days you live and breath Sales and Customer service. You need it to advance!

Advice to Management

Not much to say! There will always be changes within the company and change doesn't mean regression.

Please keep doing what you're doing! You have helped a lot of graduates kcik start their career and teach us a lot of things that we would be able to use in both our personal and professional life

    Pros

great for a resume builder, met amazing people and built lasting friendships outside of work, company events / parties, clearly defined ladder for promotions

    Cons

long hours, poor compensation for hour worked, strict customer satisfaction surveys making promotions difficult to achieve, professional attire required despite hot work days and expected to clean / wash cars without ending up looking unprofessional

    Advice to Management

better feedback for employees, better overall compensation, more realistic views on how to achieve customer satisfaction (a 5 to one customer would not be the same as a 5 to another customer and that makes it difficult on the employee to achieve high satisfaction expectations)
