I have been working at Entertainment Cruises part-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Ability to be outside during the summer's and winter's off.

Cons

Transitioning into working in the office is difficult even if you have the qualifications and been with the company for many years.

Advice to Management

Raise the pay rate for office sales employees, please, to be competitive with other employers for similar positions. Many of us are college grads and have the qualifications that come with a higher rate of pay.

I have been working at Entertainment Cruises part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible scheduling. Opportunities for promotion. Lots of company incentives and employee events.

    Cons

Mediocre pay. Customers range from very friendly to rude, demeaning and awful. Management plays favorites when scheduling, promoting, etc. Must work holidays. Unpredictable hours, might be 20 cruises one week and 5 the next.

    Advice to Management

Listen more to employee needs and suggestions, we are the ones on the boat with the customers everyday.

I have been working at Entertainment Cruises part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to gain experience within a restaurant. Fun environment to work in. Management is amazing, they care and treat you as a family member. Coworkers bond often at work and outside work. Good opportunities to move up the restaurant ladder.

    Cons

Long 14 shifts on certain days.
Quick reset in-between some busy cruises.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. Will probably be one of the best managers I will ever have in my life. (Odyssey Cruise Managers)
