I have been working at Environmental Resources Management full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Like all industries impacted by the energy and resources sector over recent years, ERM has had to revisit its business strategy and organizational capability to ensure that it remains relevant. The enhanced focus on client centricity has started to pay off with strong client feedback and a robust sales pipeline coming through. ERM is known for its outstanding technical capability and this is reflected in the calibre of employees and new hires made. As one of the last remaining pure-play environmental consulting businesses, ERM remains a destination employer for those professionals focused on the environmental and sustainability agenda within a commercial and business context.

    Cons

A more market aligned approach to compensation would ensure that ERM remains current in all operating jurisdictions and better able to secure talent in some of the more niche skill sets that the company recruits and employs in.

    Advice to Management

Continue to build on the improved communication we have seen this year both through our internal platforms and through much great visibility of our leadership teams. Our employees at all levels, not just Partners, want to feel connected and energized to the company's vision and purpose. The improvements being made here are landing very well so far!
