Pros

For the time I was there, I gained insight into a mid-sized agency feel. There's a lot to like, but not perfect. The transparency of the business during monthly meetings was beneficial and appreciated. As was said in the title, if you're 'in' you're in... luck for being a part of the 'necessary people.'

Cons

The HR/Operations Department could use some bedside manner; very abrasive in communication. There is a lack of stable leadership that focus purely on leading, rather than taking work away from the people they manage. As was said in the title, ...if you're 'out' you're out... of a job. On a strict hours-based system, I felt I could not leave my desk or take a break. Also, the health coverage favors those who aren't married. My family chose to stay on COBRA from a previous employer rather than take the medical coverage that Envisionit had offered.

Pros

Exposure to multiple clients and the chance to learn different aspects of the business. Creative and talented colleagues who care about their work. Flexible remote/hybrid work options help with day-to-day balance. Very nice people and incredibly smart colleagues.

Cons

Major disconnect between leadership and the teams. High workload and fast pace can lead to burnout, especially during peak periods. Instead of taking accountability, leadership blames the employees, which leads to many unhappy employees that tend to take it out on others. Benefits and perks are poor compared to other agencies. Compensation is typically 20-30% below true market value. Career growth paths are not clearly defined, which can cause stagnation.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Creating an environment where no one feels stretched too thin is essential to us, and it’s something we continue to focus on as we grow. The last couple of years have been a time of both growth and change for us, and this means we need to evolve how we work. We’re making several key changes, including adding senior roles in operations and finance, and adopting new tools to help with resourcing and workload planning, all aimed at creating more balance and stability for our team. Striking the right balance between change and consistency is always a journey, but we’re confident the steps we’re taking will continue to improve the employee experience and set us up for sustainable growth. We truly appreciate your insight and wish you the best in your career. — The Envisionit Team
