Pros

The main positive aspect was the co-workers, who were generally supportive, collaborative, and friendly. Team members often tried to help each other, which made day-to-day work more manageable. Beyond that, there were few positive aspects, as management and organizational issues overshadowed much of the experience.

Cons

Compensation and benefits are below industry averages. The corporate headquarters remains largely unoccupied, appearing to serve more of an administrative purpose than a strategic one. Company culture feels fragmented, and recurring layoffs contribute to a sense of instability. The Automotive Aftermarket Parts analytics team faces significant management challenges. Leadership tends to be overly directive and resistant to new ideas, which limits employee autonomy and innovation. One long-tenured director, in particular, demonstrates a lack of leadership capability and professionalism expected in a modern technology environment. When concerns were raised through HR, the outcome appeared to negatively affect my role, suggesting limited accountability and a tendency to protect certain individuals in management. Overall, management lacks the depth of experience, academic background, and professional certifications typically required to effectively lead technology teams. Product managers are frequently asked to assume responsibilities outside their scope, such as acting as scrum masters and overseeing tasks in a generic Jira environment. Many managers appear to hold their roles either due to long tenure with the company or as a result of acquisitions from smaller organizations, where senior titles were retained post-merger. Additionally, recent workforce reductions seemed to disproportionately affect employees not working under visa sponsorship, raising concerns about fairness and transparency in layoff decisions.

Pros

It’s been a really positive experience working at Epicor. I’ve had the chance to work on meaningful roles, partner closely with great teams, and continue learning along the way. The people here make a big difference—there’s a strong sense of collaboration, and it feels like everyone is working toward the same goals. Overall, it’s been a place where I’ve been able to grow and actually enjoy the day-to-day.

Cons

Like any company in a growth stage, things can move quickly at times, which can come with its challenges—but this is something Leadership is aware of and being cautious about.

Pros

- Supportive teammates - Powerful technology - Excellent growth opportunities - Vertical and Horizontal career advancement opportunities if you are curious, proactive, motivated, and genuinely passionate about the brand, teams, and the work we are doing

Cons

- It is easy to fade into the background if you don't have a center-stage role, you need to step up to make yourself visible; otherwise, you're at risk of career and reward stagnation - Like most companies, cost and timing are major contributing factors when deciding on the tools leadership make generally available to individual contributors - you're bound to be disappointed if you expect to have the latest and greatest of everything without first providing a value proposition to a senior leader. Be ready to invest personal time building use cases and gathering data to make strong cases for solutions you think will add value to your team and have a positive impact on the organizational strategy
