    Pros

possibilities to change department and duties every 2 years without necessarely know the business. Recruiters look at the potential of people to perform a job not to their knowledge.
The monetary benefits are very nice: bonuses, 13 and 14 th month, pension plan, hospitalisation insurance, transportation to work is paid.

    Cons

The company has increased a lot in the last few years and therfore sometimes it seems a bit buricratic more then it should be.

    Advice to Management

Managers are not always managing people but they became managers fr experience, THey shoud focus more on people management to help their team to progress.

    Pros

Used to be a company with lots of diversity and interesting opportunities. Less so now. There are a number of lunch restaurants near the main office. The main office is conveniently located near public transport.

    Cons

Euroclear has a very negative and somewhat kafkaesque corporate culture. They have a very bad reputation as paying unfairly low wages, which they deserve. They treat employees as if they could bring no added value to the company - something that actively deters people who have something to give. Independent thought and intelligence are discouraged and frowned upon. Raises and promotions are not given based on skills or experience or achievement, but they do call themselves a meritocracy. Despite this unfitting moniker, they allow situations where out of two employees doing the same job, the more junior with less experience can be making $2000 a month more than the more senior with more experience, and this is considered normal.

    Advice to Management

It was a bad idea to turn Euroclear into a company of robots. The best asset of Euroclear used to be its creative and intelligent workforce. I suspect that this new regime of dumbing down the workforce might save a couple of pennies in the short term, but you'll be begging for people with brains soon enough. You will find that productivity is not increased by taking all responsibility, pride and sense of achievement out of people's jobs. Instead you will get the disloyalty, disrespect and pity that you currently deserve. Don't be surprised to see people jumping to Clearstream and other competitors for respectability and a decent salary.
