Negative Outlook

I have been working at Eurofins Medinet full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Money and great co-workers. There aren't many other benefits except for donut day on Tuesday and whenever Cost-Co comes to persuade you to sign up for a membership with free muffins.

Cons

No raises, subpar benefits, poor management. My own boss quit because she couldn't handle the chaotic mess that was the everyday norm at Eurofins.

Advice to Management

Take a step in the workers' shoes.

    Pros

The department possess a diverse multicultural and friendly environment. The interaction with other departments such as reporting, the laboratory and project management is in a friendly casual manner, where everyone share views, plan and provide valuable feedback.

    Cons

Interaction with parties outside Eurofins might prove to be challenging in certain sites due to the lack of coordination in such places or the absence of a training program for those that the take the samples, which results in an increasing amount of queries for the helpdesk department.

    Advice to Management

Increase the active participation of helpdesk department prior the launch of new studies in order to ensure clear procedures that lower the amount of queries and miscommunication among the parties involved in such studies.

I have been working at Eurofins Medinet full-time

    Pros

Employees below management level are super.

    Cons

Management is either clueless or intent on maintaining dysfunctionality and poor quality and service. The company will not prosper until old school European Vice Presidents are Directors are replaced. Presently Eurofins Medinet's solution to problems is to hire a new clueless Vice President without a job description or accountability for anything tangible. Staff turnover is extremely high and is most likely due to project management and data management leadership. Until this is changed, the company does not have the ability to succeed. Talented staff are overworked and cannot successfully perform their duties. Resource forecasting is non-existent.
