I have been working at Eventbrite full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great product, the co-workers are all very close even at 250+ employees, the culture speaks volumes.

Cons

Career path and promotions aren't traditional as expected in a startup environment. Don't plan on just getting a raise/promotion for doing your job every 6 months to a year.

Advice to Management

Continue to involve the employees in the decisions of the future. This is a great place to work and start and grow a career. Makes sure you focus on retention as much as new lifeblood.

    Pros

    Amazing team - everyone is super friendly and outgoing and there is a super positive team spirit

    Perks - (delicious) food and snacks everyday, comfy and quirky meeting rooms, fantastic location, the list goes on and on

    True to values - a main value of Eventbrite is transparency, and they always stay true to that. There is an open forum for asking questions about the goings-on of the company and transparency is 100% to both employees and site users.

    Cons

    Depends on what you're looking for, but as it grows, it is losing some of its more "start-up" qualities...so take that for what you will.

    Pros

    This company has great benefits, travel compensation, health & wellness stipend, catered lunch. Great team building exercises, frequent meetings. Great culture.

    Cons

    You have to sit for long periods and stay in front of a computer screen. Really stagnant and repetitive.
