People in my unit were passionate about the mission and work of the school. Generally, people were open and welcoming. The salary is very high compared to other colleges in the Albany area.
Cons
Very poor financial management and enrollment forecasting. Silo-ed environment in many respects. If you don't take the initiative, you'll go unnoticed.

Pros
Excelsior has gathered strong academic leaders to take it into the future. Strong programs support adult learners and the military. Very strong communication and excellent remote work set up. Outstanding work/life balance.
Cons
Excelsior is going through significant changes, which is hard on long term employees.

It's fine, though. It's all great and there are "so many opportunities". Show me.
