I worked at Expedia full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

New technologies
Office View

Aggressive culture

Cons

Underwhelming travel benefits
Some teams are severely overworked and under-recognized
office politics

Advice to Management

Allow workers chance to decide some things
Encourage more people to disconnect from work at end of day, rather then expecting them to be 'on call"

Good culture, although it depends on the team
    Good location

    Cons

Decent pay but not as competitive as MS or Amazon

Work can be interesting depending on the team but it's easy to get stuck doing the same thing for many years

Keep up with the positive changes. Invest in employees and technology. Take more risks and venture into technologically uncharted areas in the travel market.

    Pros

Travel benefits, and tools (new computers)

Loads of corporate bureaucracy, and senior titles that are incompetent in working in modern software development practices.

    Advice to Management

Stop being driven by greed, and the old business practices of yesteryear.
