I have been working at Expedia full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

expedia is good company and depending on the team you just might have best time of your life. However all of that can turn around really quickly since there is constant changes happening in the upper management.

    Cons

Upper management is not good at rewarding and recognizing talent. You feel expendable. Being a Travel Company, you get the feel they don't care if thy attract talent. They just want somebody who will do what the upper management tells them to do and thats it.

    Advice to Management

Focus on attracting and keeping talent at the company. Award those who perform well. Be easier on promotion for those who have worked hard.

I have been working at Expedia full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work from home option, and health and wellness benefits.

    Cons

If you are salaried you get 15 days vacation, 10 sick days, and 9 holidays. You can use these benefits immediately!

If you are hourly you get 13 days vacation, no sick days, and 9 holidays, you can use your vacation after you accrue it, not immediately like salaried is able to!

How is the fair! So be mindful of this if you are looking at this company.

    Advice to Management

Lets be fair and just with our time off, employees are watching, and the ESAT scores will reflect it! Why can't we be treated equally?
