Pros

Good salary, great medical benefits, and all the free pop to rot your teeth while they work you hardcore. 20% off hotel rates (even when they're on sale).

Cons

Hours are grueling and you get to have a meets expectations rating and keep your job. They reorg every 3-6 months and politics run amok. Promotion is based on luck rather than skill and if you like having your job performance rated on a bell curve against your peers then this is the place for you. Also, you're screwed if you want to have a life with your spouse and children.

Advice to Management

How about resourcing your staffing to correct levels so that everyone doesn't have to work like a dog. Also, it wouldn't feel like punishment when you go on vacation and come back to a work environment that doesn't really care about you.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Cool to work for an international company and work with people from all over. Decent benefits package. Attractive, environmentally-friendly and very modern building. Some very nice, smart coworkers.

    Cons

Salaries are notoriously under-competitive compared with similar positions in comparable companies. Technology is not the latest and greatest. Very political - beware of backstabbers. HR is incompetent. Company branding is weak and doesn't really distinguish itself. Comformity is encouraged - those who speak up are shot down.

    Advice to Management

Encourage innovation. Be more open to new technologies or you will be left behind. Give less hiring power to HR. And remember that life is not a series of PowerPoint presentations.

    Pros

Flexible work hours, good benefits, flat organization structure,

    Cons

Management lack leadership to guide direction towards goals, which are not often communicated properly. Internal communications between department seem to break down very often.

    Advice to Management

Please make sure everyone in the company is working towards a goal, not for himself. Managers should facilitate his team to deliver results, instead of waiting to be served by his team
