Some middle managers are ok.

Cons

No common sense when laying people. Most experienced top performers were layed off and lower less knowledgable employees retained.

    hard working people. Enjoy working with many peers.

    Cons

    upper management and line management are not on the same page. Lack of support resources make taking time off difficult or people often spend time working while on vacation. upper management support Work/family life balence until work is needed.

    resource issues will drive off strong performers.
