Disapproves of CEO

Pros

Friendly and hard working employees-which helps as documentation on processes is outdated or nonexistent
Diversity of cultures
HR is caring but cannot contol some upper management nonuse of good practices such as performance reviews and rewarding top performing individuals

Cons

Furlough instituted,401k matches frozen, raises minimal 2009 into 2010
Layoffs frequent, include top talent, not based on performance but on
company focuses on short term financial wins or ebit goals and not on long term system efficiencies
work computers hard to get repaired and internal system rolled out improperly and archaic old tools - bad form for a company who wants to be known for technology

Advice to Management

question costa mesa for upper management and primary US support - it contradicts hiring employees in Chile for budget improvements

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Comparitively stable for inside sales respectively, but boring, no career path. Surrounded by a bunch of underperformers who somehow keep their jobs year after year, when they base thier numbers on blue birds every other year.

    Cons

Surrounded by a bunch of people who only call themselves sales people by title alone. They tend to make their numbers via the blue bird every other year. Then wait a year, to make their number again. Very rare to even make 100k a year.

    Advice to Management

Start all over, from the top down. Build in career paths, get rid of the bottom 10% each quarter, give A.E.'s more products to sell. Make it more attracitve place to work by making it more competitive, increase their earning potential, and show upwad mobility.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Free bagels - good place for recent college grads to get their feet wet. Once you have 1-2 years exp you should look for a new job; as I did. Employees learn how to spin the truth to best serve themselves.

    Cons

Toxic work environment created by leaders within the organization. Senior leaders display inappropriate professional behavior. Leaders make decisions based on narrow scope of information and don't take the time to learn about their people or the work they do. There seems to be a blatant lack of respect for what other people outside of the client services dept contribute to the organization. Leaders should take notice.... organizations are not built around one dept.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to learn about people and the work that they do. Learn new PROFESSIONAL ways to behave and lead by example. I'm baffled by the lack of professional behavior and how that trickles down to the staff.
