Pros
Opportunity to take on a lot of responsibility early on. Competitive starting salary and compensation package. Great 401K match. Medical benefits for the whole family available.
Cons
Once you have joined the company, base pay can become uncompetitive and the whole compensation package is what maintains competitiveness. However, the pension part of the package is lost if you leave the company before retirement. Flex schedule is advertised but depends on your management, with many supervisors requiring employees to be in the office every day even if your team is overseas and calls are on Zoom. Culture can be negative on some teams due to high turnover. You can get stuck in an area of the company, losing the advertised movement and growth potential. This can occur due to turnover, requiring analysts who have stayed to train new hires as turnover continues.
