Pros

Great, market-leading technology.
Highly regarded brand.
Financially strong and well managed (by Wall Street's standards)
Innovative technology roadmap virtually assures sustained leadership position
Very high customer satisfaction and loyalty

Cons

Unrealistic business forecasting model and expectations.
Very difficult to consistantly meet quota.
Not a mentoring or coaching culture.
A lot of fear-based sales management.
If it's good, it's great. If it's not, you're all alone.

Advice to Management

Create a sales culture that inspires passionate engagement rather than fearful and cautious corporate-survival strategies. Hire sales leaders who are mentors and coaches first, and forecast managers/cattle-drivers second. Make the employees feel and believe that they are more important than the quarterly guidance to Wall Street. Place a higher value on the human spirit and lead accordingly.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Very employee friendly - sensitive, informed, and caring management.
    Incredibly diverse
Good communication - friendly, happy workforce
Great benefits - except Aetna Healthcare
John McAdam is approachable, and not an egomaniac. He listens.
    Customers love the company.

    Cons

Aetna H/C is pretty weak - high deductables, difficult to deal with...

    Advice to Management

could be good or bad - depending on your perspective but its weird that the place clears out at 5pm - even the parking garage closes at 6pm...

I have been working at F5 Networks full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Gehälter und Boni am Jahresende (Aktienpaket)
    - Gute Produkte
